Muso on The Tonight Show
Hey guys,
In case you missed the 1 million emails and bulletins, we just got back from our tour to Austin.
Now the big news....
We were taped for a segment on The Tonight Show! Leno & Co. sent Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips to interview bands for the South by Southwest festival.
Thursday night, March 22, you can see your Muso bros playing in the street and setting Brian's toy drums on fire. Brian is very tall; the drums were tiny. The comedy is clear.
20 minutes was widdled down to 5 or so seconds, but we're told there's "a good bit of us."
The segment airs within the first 20 minutes, right before the Will Ferrell interview. Set your Tivo's to Awesome.
Our buddy Nils taped the whole thing, so check our site for extended shenanigans with Wayne in the near future, including...
-Wayne teaching Josh how to properly burn a drum kit
-Wayne saying the cover of our new EP looks "like Sun Ra's bizarre cousin"
-and more!
We'll also have a video of us playing "Picture Show", the song featured on The Tonight Show, live at Ego's during the Heck Yes! 07 Tour very soon.
Snuggles,
Brian, Josh and Parker

This isn't about playing...
We've been on tour for 5 days and we're not dead yet. We are, however, beat. Un/loading a Uhaul cube and un/hitching it to your van is not all glitz and champagne. The drive to Texas was long and kind of grueling (2 12-hour days). Albuquerque was on fire. The crowd was rowdy and we followed a punk-metal band, so we cut our weak songs and dropped only bombs. They didn't throw shit. They actually dug it. We won.
Dallas was rainy. A few friends came out and the club was cool, but otherwise uneventful.
Austin so far has been non stop. Our show at Ego's last night destroyed, more so because the room was full of friends and family. The great Bodies of Water and Yippah followed. Around all that, we've squeezed in friends, house parties, parites you need wrist bands and RSVP's to get into (because we're totally LA like that), and family dinners.
Sat we play Treasure Island, which according to our new friend Abby is "a total frat bar." Perfect.
Tomorrow I'm going to see Public Enemy bitches.
